@rjluna2; They can be modified, or downgraded, no problem. After 50 years it would have to be pulled apart and restored to look like this. As you already know, you could take a 1969, change all four wings and drill holes for the lower trim (you might have an issue with the fuel filler), or use a 1976, replace the bumpers, wheels (all on 5/170), even the wiper arms, and it would look like this. It still looks like a pre-1972 with these bumper guards and wheels, 1971+ side trim and stone chip guards, though with an upgraded 1974 grille so some items are not orginal indeed |
