RT, RTL, or, at a stretch, RTW. |

Fake street furniture made out of cardboard boxes and "sticky-backed plastic" (as they used to say on Blue Peter). So probably not London, which has enough real street furniture to not need any more .... The red ball on top of a pole looks like a sci-fi prop. |

Yes, the movie was entirely filmed in Italy, so the bus is an "immigrant". |

Did people really say "sticky-backed plastic" back then, or something else ? |

They probably still do, brand names are strictly a no-no on the Beeb. |

Blue Peter is a programme aimed at young people, and as said above the BBC does not use brand names if they can be dodged. I am sure you could find an example of one of the presenters uttering that phrase while demonstrating how to build a doll’s hospital or similar out of cardboard and old egg crates. |

They weren't allowed to say Fablon. My favourite Blue Peter quote - "I don’t normally like tomatoes, John, but this is delicious” - later immortalised here. |

Is this bus going to remain, forever, unidentifiable or shall there be posted a view with a clue? It seems that the mods are happy for the database to become a repository for dross, and need a good kicking. |

Other than determining the actual bus(es) that found their way to Italy in the late 1960s, it comes down to being 'London Transport RT family' so AEC Regent III RT as best descrition here, like many of the rear views of other RT/RTL/RTW buses. |
