This bus must have accidentally crossed through a wormhole from 'Back to the Future'! It's certainly not circa 1930's and I would agree that it's probably either South American or European made from no earlier then the fifties. No OSCAR to the Prop Department on this one! Unlike most of the rest of the film, these bus scenes were shot on the Universal lot. That may account for why they used such an anachronistic model. |

I think the bigger question isn't this bus being an anachronism, but rather what is a late-'50s Japanese bus doing in the US? How did it get here and why? |
