Maybe a former U.S. Postal Service Van? |

Or Australia? Did Holden build/assemble them? |

No, i don't think its a right hand drive car, as far as you can see in the episode, it looks like there is a man driving on the left side, and the actor moving a fake steering wheel from the right. ![]() When the van comes backwards in the scene of the first thumbnail, i think it's clearly visible. The episode was filmed mostly in USA, they probably wanted to simulate a right hand car as its supposed to be set in Hong Kong. |

I wouldn't count stock footage of foreign locations as filming abroad. |

Actually I'm inclined to agree with booster. This isn't at all like a Honkers licence plate. http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/ |

Sorry, by stock footage I was referring to the shot of the Mazda in a Hong Kong street: /vehicle_149873-Mazda-Familia-AP-FA-1977.html This scene, on the other hand, must have been filmed somewhere in the Los Angeles area. |

It is clearly a right hand drive. In this episode, I clearly saw Mr. T get in the panel van on the right side with the steering column on the right side. Notice the gas filler is at the right side as other left hand drive Chevrolet Suburban Carryall and Panel Van has. Compare /vehicle_69104-Chevrolet-Suburban-3106-1948.html with this. -- Last edit: 2008-01-19 20:38:37 |

No vent window, so a 1947-50 model. Short wheelbase of the 3100 model (here is a long 3800 panel), so a 3105 Chevrolet internal code. ⇒ 1947 Chevrolet Advance-Design Panel [3105] -- Last edit: 2015-01-06 04:48:28 |
