Unfortunately, not quite as simple. Sequence was Sept 55 Escort (basic, no side trim) and Squire (woodie trim) introduced. Oct 57 Squire woodie trim dropped, replaced by chrome strip, Escort unchanged. Sept 59 Squire stopped completely; Escort upgraded with chrome side strip and sliding windows (in effect it became the Squire). Apr61 Escort stopped. So without sight of grille, dateable plates or name badges the last Squire and the last Escort can not be separated.
