Don't know why this was listed as a '49. The '48's and '49's were visually identical from the exterior and we use first possible years in listings. Changing to 1948. |

The 1948 brochure only shows a convertible in the Commodore series; 1949 convertibles were available as Super Six and Commodore Eight. I do think it looks like a Commodore hood ornament. |
