This car looks at an angle from the back like a Peugeot 401 (including the lateral airing flaps) -- Last edit: 2021-05-14 12:21:03 |

Looks like radiator cowl's creator tried to imitate Tonneline. |

it looks like the Peugeot 401 but the grille seems to have been tinkered with. Besides, the number plate does not seem identical to the front as to the rear. The front bumper is strange... ![]() a cardboard craft for the movie ? ![]() -- Last edit: 2021-05-14 20:24:33 |

I fully agree with that. Different number plates and absence of an identifiable make logo resp. the original grille was also a problem with this example: /vehicle_12254-Fiat-525.html (see Furillo's comment!) Was there a tendency to conceal the identity of car owners in Italian films of that period? |

I'm almost sure it's a 401, but the front has been tinkered with. I think it was due to a lack of budget for the film at the time: we collected and assembled what we could as parts with several cars (?) and that was enough for the movie. I have not found a single car with such a grille ! The front bumper with only one bumper is strange. If you also notice just below two lines or something like a bar at the level of the chassis which exists only on one side ... it looks like a DIY! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
