@rjluna2, what about these yellow lights? |

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure the US doesn't have round "no entry" signs. (This also looks like a self-made convertible) -- Last edit: 2021-05-19 09:52:13 |

Don't be, these fenders and bumpers also appeared on 1968+ 1200, door mrror 1968+ Might be missing quarterlights? but it has the smaller convertible windscreen (actually the wipers are too big for the window....) |

+ Kawasaki GPZ 900 R. |

Looking on ancient windshield frame and wipers and I'd say it's pre-1958 Cabriolet, rebuilt with later elements. |

And low beltline may suggest some non-Karmann convertible or decapitated sedan. |

Movie appearance of Marc Nicolosi's Hebmüller, Ex Ruud de Ruiter, chassis number 1-0315422 as stated by Mr Jan Walter (20/05/2021). |

Hebs ended 1950, this is a (January) 1952 chassis number |
◊ 2021-05-21 05:40 |
Indeed. That explains he lower doors, they are curved Heb doors. Car is fitted with 1974 fenders. Build # (body number) not given (14-someting, said to have been a total of 696 built) Production of Hebs later moved to Karmann and made there until 1953 Info and pictures of this car (now restored) found here https://www.hebmueller-registry.com/models-reader-hebmueller/id-1-0315422.html |

Seems to be a match for /vehicle_124724-Volkswagen-1300-Typ-1-1967.html Same modifications - new wings with indicators and vertical headlamps, seats, dash, sun visors, door mirror, missing crest, wrong wipers - the only thing is the elephants are clearly seen in a scene, they are not visible in Sins. The color changes between two shots - but that may be a light issue as the numbers match, which in turn could be fake anyway. |
