Scammell "Constructor" 20 ton tractor...in this case the civillian version fitted with crew cab and ballast body..in British military service it had a normal cab and either a steel cargo rear body or a fifth wheel coupling for Dyson tank transporter trailer.

I am fairly certain it is a Scammell Super Constructor, but I am still looking for exact details of this specific beauty.
For the meantime here is a larger picture:

Ex Vickers Shipbuilding Scammell Super Constructor Rolls Royce Mechanically supercharged straight 6 Diesel C6SFL, Current Owner Allan Lloyd. I am section Leader for Diesel Heavy Haulage vehicles at Great Dorset Steam fair and I regularly book this vehicle into the event. Supplied directly to the shipyard on a MoS (Ministry of Supply) contract, it has had no military usage. Although it carries Reg no NEO 705R it was built in 1963, and was not road registered until the need arose for it to move by road to an ajoining shipyard.

The Super Constuctor can be identified from the Constructor by a wider radiator needed because of the bigger engines fitted. The Constructor used Scammell's own 6 speed gearbox, but generally the Super Constructor had the RV30 self changing gears semi-automatic box. That is me stood just to the right of the vehicle in the Hi Vis jacket!

I was lucky enough to drive this scammel super constructor NEO 705R when i worked in the ship yard in the eighty's, it had a c gas eagle super charged engine with a scammel air change gear box with three low range and three high range gears, I have driven this unit when it had a load of 250tons on the trailer and pulled it with ease, the winch was damaged when we used it to pull slipway sections up the berth after a launch, there was also another super constructor i think the reg no was JEO 672, they were green originally then repainted into red livery, this one had all the half shafts snapped while trying to pull a load up the kings gate hill, Stan Gleaves was the driver at the time,
