These 1970+ MkIII Minis ( the rear bumper doesn't seem to belong to a Clubman or a 1275 GT ) were not officially imported in the US. This looks like a privately imported car with its standard bumper and lights that received side markers in order to allow its legalization. Since it's not possible to see if it has another filler cap and the identifying badge is missing, I would say it's a 1970+ Mini MkIII. |

The Austin version was sold in the US from about 1962-67. |

Actually since 1959 (for MY 1960). Until 1962 they were named Austin / Morris 850. |
