Larger white sedan, indeed. However here we take the smaller sedan on right: Datsun Bluebird. |

The chassis 310 is only for one year: 1959 |

1959, not 1960 |

Since August 1959 so we use '1960 model year' pattern. However I think we can discuss about '1959' for JDM cars. ![]() |

The thing is that in August 1959 the Bluebird with 310 chassis appeared. It was approved for 4 passengers.![]() In October 1959 the Bluebird with chassis 311 appears. To commit with the renewed Corona, the interior was modified to accommodate 5 passengers ![]() So really the Bluebird with chassis (310) is a 1959 model, made from August to October only |

If so, there's a fair bit of housekeeping needed within most of this list. We also have some [311], [P310] and [P311] to work out what to do with. |

Indeed @dsl ... Although externally it is very difficult to differentiate them ... What is clear is the years 310--1959 311--1960 |

I always thought [310] indicated 1-litre engine, [311] 1.2-litre. ![]() https://www.nissan-global.com/EN/HERITAGE/datsun_bluebird_1200_dx_1960.html |

According automobile-catalog.com (which is very accurate usually) these versions were available: [310]: Aug 1959-Oct 1960 [311]: Oct 1960-Aug 1961 [312]: Aug 1961-Sept 1963. |
