Too small for a Leyland T45? |

It has the lower height narrow T45 cab so Leyland Cruiser, a lightweight tractor unit, and not a Roadtrain, which has an extra slotted grille in the front panel. I was unaware of a wheel option to give the low-load height but they were popular for brewery deliveries. -- Last edit: 2021-09-14 21:51:36 |

Low-profile, factory approved, conversions of the Leyland Freighter and Constructor rigids and Cruiser tractive units for local delivery or municipal work were available from chassis engineer Lyka of Preston from late 1985. However the movie vehicle looks slightly different in the above bumper area and I think could be a later fully engineered Leyland version. The extra thumbnails are not that clear but probably are standard Leyland T45 rigids (simple trucks). -- Last edit: 2021-09-15 12:19:48 |
