1950-1964 Rover 2000 or 2600 [P4] |

Rover [P4], possibly a 105R. |

"possibly" = a 105R rather than a 2000, or it was a 3rd solution? |

105R means the car had 105 HP (as the 105S), available with the 6 cyl. 2600cc engine only I think. -- Last edit: 2005-12-23 18:00:08 |

Rover 2600 then? |

If it's a 105R, yes. But I cannot assess it. |

This was down as 1953 Rover 105S which is impossible as 105S launched Oct 56, so have changed to unknown P4. Anyone any ideas? Is it even a P4 - the rear outline looks wrong and the colour split?? A 50s coupe of some sort? |

If it is a rover how about an early/mid fifties 75 coupe, the rare pininfarina body maybe? |

I think it's an ordinary 75 [P4], from 1952-4. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rover_75_2-Door_Saloon_1952.jpg (the 2-door bit is nonsense, of course). |
