Eunos Presso / Autozam AZ-3 / Mazda AZ-3 in Japan, but Eunos 30X in Australia... I guess that in New-Zealand (movie location) it is rather the latter one? -- Last edit: 2008-03-13 16:22:52 |

Since a lot of cars in New Zealand are imported secondhand from Japan, it could be any of the above. |

I agree with Greg H. The plate dates it at about 1998 but I think it is a few years earlier than that. From what I have seen on the road the Autozam version is most common. -- Last edit: 2008-03-14 07:25:49 |

The logo on the bonnet looks to be round, like Eunos, Autozam logo is square. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eunos_cars http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autozam |

It's either a Mazda Presso or Autozam AZ-3. The plate dates from 1997, but the car is a Japanese import and dates from around 1992 or 1993. |

Plate indicates 1994 Mazda AZ-3 with 1.5-litre engine [EC5SA], JDM import in 1997. |
