62-mid 65 D-300 or D-400 1 ton or 1 1/2 ton, respectively, judging by the size and clearance of the front tires. Lack of DODGE badge behind wheel opening may help indicate exact year of production. Third thumbnail has a similar Dodge medium duty truck painted in green. First two thumbnails show front fender of a 61 Bel Air or Impala. http://www.sweptline.com/hist/bigtrucks.html http://www.sweptline.com/hist/62d5post.jpg (D-500 showing similar front end -- Last edit: 2008-03-16 08:40:24 |

1961-64 Dodge trucks had quad headlights. 1965's didn't. |

The move to dual headlights was a mid-year 1965 styling update. 61's had a mesh grille. http://www.sweptline.com/hist/65-67.html |
