Called the 'Mercury' Capri and sold only thru Mercury dealerships in USA but otherwise the same as European sold versions. Mercury dealers also sold the DeTomaso Pantera at the same time. -- Last edit: 2006-05-13 20:24:29 |

The Capri MkI which were imported 2 the USA were manufactured in Cologne, West Germany - USA spec models do not have the Ford blue oval and respective F-O-R-D markings - the F-O-R-D badges were replaced with CAPRI lettering (Lincoln-Mercury dealerships sold the vehicles until 1974 when it was called a Mercury Capri)... |
