Any other views? I have thought long and hard about this and the two most popular cars to feature clap hands doors and a twin styling line with the door handles beneath are the Ford V-8 from the mid 30s and the contemporary Vauxhall Light Six or Big Six. There are more, but mainly American, and therefore less likely to appear in a London scrap yard. Degree of confidence? 1% tending towards zero. Vauxhall Light Six DX/DY, for all your reasons, jfs; plus A pillar shape windscreen details and scuttle form/length. Only the door hinge looks slightly too low but it could be the upper part is not seen due to poor image quality. Confidence 75%+... |

Or, being a Vauxhall in a scrapyard, it’s probably dropped off. I’m quite happy to go with Light Six. |
