That Andy Hotten limo is a modified 74, 75 or 76. Note the wider opening in the front bumper of that year. The custom grille is exactly that. The rear end is 75-76 with the typical limo "hump" in the trunk. |

Not a Hotton, Hotton's had an extended rear door this car has a center section, possibly a Moloney. Note the rear opera window which was a Lehmann-Peterson trademark. Moloney took over L-P in 1970 when L-P went out of business and used many of Lehmann-Peterson ideas. |

Moloney had two different grille variants; one with a grille opening slightly higher than the other. This is the former. The Moloney badges on the quarter panels are absent. Nice touch on the rear shot - busted lower taillight bulb. Either that, or the bulb assembly fell out of the lens housing. A the owner of one of these beasts, I can attest to the frequency at which that happens. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-02-02 02:17:40 |

Upon revisiting this episode, it is apparent that a similar 1977 Continental stretch was used for some scenes as well. Note the episode opening (in particular), along with some of the chase footage. -Kurt |
