 Instantly recognised as a Morris-Commercial by the windscreen, probably a Morris-Commercial G2 Junior Taxi.

Six-light body as Morris-Commercial G2 Junior taxi and with the probable GX2228 1932 registration from the following merged comments which now fits.

Most likely is GK, 9/30 or GX, 3/32 both London.

Now you know why I don’t use Glass’s.

GX 2228 could possibly be a 1932 Beardmore Hyper Taxi 'Farthing Cab' MkIII.

Its appearance looks very close from the screen shot but I would also like see an off-side mounted spare wheel.

I suspect its actually mounted on the back as seen by the separate bumpers and both off set number/hackney plates, which should indicate a Cape Body, designed in 1929 by South African W Gowan.

Adding it all together Beardmore Paramount 'Cape' body MkIV. (with about 50% confidence) but not conclusive.

Its all down to the finest detail and we don't have sufficient here to sort it out.

That Glass's list starts from 1929. Any series issued and completed before then (which is usually AB xxxx format) are not listed. They are included in the Newall book jfs prefers, and can usually be found (although sometimes with less detail) here.

Its appearance says its later than any registration considered; being a Beardmore Paramount Taxi Mark IV with a saloon body and less likely, but possibly, a Cape Body.

Another here in the same movie with its true registration so possible that they reused it with a false registration.
