I think it is too old to be a David Brown. It is more likely to be one of the American makes. Maybe a McCormick-Deering like this http://www.tractorshed.com/gallery/br98_59.jpg Note the position of the air intake and the shape of the tank. I would date it at early to mid-1930s because it is on pneumatic tyres. The model 22-36 in the picture was built 1929-34. A pity we can't get a better look at it. |

Everything about this tractor looks right for it to be a International McCormick Deering 15-30 (1928 to 1936) - the top-hinged engine cover, the seat that is slightly more forward than most of its contemporaries, the position of the air cleaner and exhaust, the colour, the steering design and position.
