We used to have one of these - bought new in 1967. The two side lights beside the headlight would suggest a date of 1966 or later. I can see a small badge on the front door which leads me to think it is a 2500 model. Ours was a 1500 and was powred by the Rootes 1725 engien as found in the late Super minx. I think the 2500 has a greater carrying capacity. My version of the answer is 1966 Commer 2500. |

cf. Redbeard45s comment here: /vehicle_40233-Commer-2500-PB.html (so it could be a 1966 [PA] or 1967+ [PB]. Are those different rear side windows a clue to something? -- Last edit: 2008-05-07 11:30:32 |

Those different rear side windows suggest it is a minibus rather than a commercial van. |

1967 or later ('68 MY) Commer 2500 PB by the white reflective front plates that were first allowed mid-December 1967, (assuming they were not replaced later). |

Wow, that's really cool, do you have any history or pictures on Kingsbury Motors? or for the work on the Survivors tv series? |
