The steamroller 'Boxer' is currently at Bressingham Steam Museum, near Norfolk UK as part of the Dad's Army collection. The Bressingham Steam Museum website is being revised and updated so more details are not available. |

From the Bressingham Steam Museum website Manufacturer: S.C. Burrell. "Boxer" No. 3962. Reg. mark PW 1714. Built 1923. 5 N.H.P. Weight 8 tons. Light weight road roller used for surface finishing roads. Completely restored at Bressingham, formerly owned by Doran Bros., Thetford. Only five of this design survives. ‘Boxer’ featured in the ‘Dad’s Army TV episode ’Everybody’s Trucking’ filmed at Blackrabbit Warren (MOD) in 1974. |
