You sure it's not a regular Polar? I can't see the Super-badge. |

Hmm... no, I was thinking the alloys could make it a Super Polar? |

Indeed, Super Polar were fitted with Scorpius alloys as standard but I don't know if you could get them for the Polar as well? The Polar was a DL with some extra features while the Super Polar was better equipped. Come to think of it, I can't even make out the fender mounted indicator so the badge could be hidden in the blur as well. You are probably right that it is a Super Polar. |

Checked on one of my magazines' price list (April 1993 issue) and alloys don't appear in the option list for regular Polar |

Thanks! Does it say if you could get it with any other engine than the 2.0? |

No, Polar and Super Polar were only 2.0 2.3 petrol (catalyzed) and D6 engines were available until December 1990 in Italy, but not as Polar. After that date, we got only Polar and Super Polar. From a quick check on my magazines: Polar was available without catalyzator (2.0 116hp) since September 1989 to December 1991 and catalyzed (2.0 109hp) since September 1990 to July 1993. Super Polar was available only with catalyzator (2.0 109hp) since December 1990 to July 1993. |
