Strong whiff of FX3?? The down curving rear wing line for instance?? -- Last edit: 2023-02-06 22:21:17 |

Not tall enough, no taxi sign on roof. If anything it’s a Wolseley, but as there are so many possibilities it’s too hard to go further. -- Last edit: 2023-02-06 22:18:46 |

I'd say there's definitely enough visible for an identification. |

Although, is that a taximeter? What about the lh front door, has it got a division? -- Last edit: 2023-02-06 22:26:34 |

I'm convinced that almost all the details say it is an Austin FX3 Taxi. My only slight doubt is if I can see a taxi sign on the front of the roof, whatever shape is seen almost blends into the background for some reason. Slightly less certain about the sliding glass division and there could be trunk standing up on the luggage platform, but it looks possible. Without any clearer view I would say it was an early Austin FX3 and its in line with the filming date. -- Last edit: 2023-02-07 14:51:15 |

The front edge of the roof-mounted taxi sign is visible, very briefly, in the movie - FX3 it is. |
