It was rolled over in the movie and driven very roughly. Back in 1968 this was just an old beat-up sports car. Replicas may have spawned around this time but for the most part weren't widely sold until the 1970s. I find it hard to believe that they would spend money on a replica for a low-budget movie only to destroy it when there were several cheap old beat up Porsches that would have been readily available to abuse. |
