I found the source stock photo: https://www.istockphoto.com/photo/speedway-gm89529302-3019701 Other pictures from the same event, uploaded in 2007. The lettering on the cars is in English, and at least some of them are right hand drive. UK? Australia? South Africa? https://www.istockphoto.com/photo/speedway-gm124675282-2981834?phrase=car (car 61 is in the back) https://www.istockphoto.com/photo/speedway-gm91094673-2982050?phrase=car https://www.istockphoto.com/photo/speedway-gm91082486-3019708?phrase=car https://www.istockphoto.com/photo/speedway-gm89529304-3019709?phrase=car (White foreground car a Holden Torana [LX]? Blue car in the back I recognize as a Datsun B210) iStock credits the photos to Matt Scherf, and I did find at least one other credit for a photographer named Matt Scherf in Melbourne, Australia. If it's Australia, then this would be a Ford Cortina MkIV [TE]? -- Last edit: 2023-03-08 00:57:42 |

Yes - Aus built Mk4 TE. Mk5 (UK and Aus, also true for splitting Taunus TC2/TC3) had different vents on C-pillar and taller side windows to a flat roof without the slight doming on Mk4. |
