Please set year as 1972. The additional grilles next to the radiator are gone, and the indicators are still in the high position (they were lowered in 1983). This link is German only, but all the info is taken from there: Link to "de.wikipedia.org" Also please put "F8" as chassis code and leave the model name empty - the exact model name (weight + engine size) cannot be found out without any badges. The trucks in Ep. 11.01 and 11.04 do not belong here: 1) The one in 11.01 should be put here, as it looks exactly the same (except for the colour), but size and other details match: /vehicle_138519-MAN-26240-F8-1983.html 2) Here's a new page for the 1983+ MAN F8: /vehicle.php?id=812384 |

I suppose that the F8 change from model name to chassis code could be done for all those listed with F8 as model? |

AFAIK yes, because MAN used to generate model names by combining the vehicle's weight and the engine power before switching to names like "TGX" etc, where these numbers are extra info. |
