Assuming that it is not another appearance of the much used rebodied 4.3 that is seen elsewhere, then: - There is no trafficator slot behind the top hinge of the door on the subject car, whereas on the genuine car (if Bonhams are correct) it is quite clearly visible. This suggests that the subject car may be one of the “Alvis Continuation Series” cars, which might be considered as a new build, rather than a replica. Since I do not belong to the Alvis Owners Club I’m not sure how many “modern” 4.3s have been built. -- Last edit: 2023-04-05 16:59:25 |
