LYF 799 was a real London plate, Dec 50 to May 52 "allocated in blocks", and we have some LT buses with LYF xxx combos so it smells genuine. And there's an A40 pickup and a Morris rear in a couple of the captures But a couple of hiccups: (1) everything is filmed in New South Wales according to imdb and the closing credits for every ep (2) to complicate things further, there's an FX3 taxi with LYF 799 plates, described as a 1958, for rental from a dealer in Greenwich Village, New York However I think our car is this 51 with local VBB002 plates, recently sold in NSW - has matching added pimple front indicators and the nice wooden bits on the running boards. No idea what the NYC car really is, but it ain't got those details. And the A40 and Morris appear in definite NSW scenes later.
