I would be the first to agree this car doesn't have the screen time for five stars, but: - the movie is named after it (see plate); - the plot revolves around the murders of its two owners (investigated by their sister); - despite being apparently destroyed in an arson, the car makes sporadic reapparances as something of a ghostly character, watching over the investigating sister. Outside the movie the car is consistently referred to as a "Chrysler City Coupe". It was designed by George Barris (of 1966 Batmobile fame) and built by Jerry Kinds Auto Body. The body is based upon a 1941 Chrysler Businessman Coupe, the chassis is from a 1982 Corvette.
