What's the white/tan car it's flying into? |

Looks like a '55-56 Chrysler |

Not quite - it's a '56 Plymouth. |

Just noticed - this Chevy has stainless steel moldings on the beltline below the windows and around the windshield - the One-Fifty didn't have those. What we have here is a Two-Ten missing all its side trim. Can someone correct the listing? |

At the other day, I was watching streaming HD TV and saw that chase sequence. I thought I wanted to take another stab on this. I found this one has the trim at the windows still that correspond with Two-Ten with the missing side trim. I would suggest this is 1955 Chevrolet Two-Ten ![]() Link to "oldcarbrochures.com" |

With these new thumbs, the interior really looks more like the vinyl pattern of a Delray Club Coupe - it shared the body of the two-door sedan ![]() |

This car starts as the 1955 Plymouth Plaza that Bond cuts off in traffic and listed elsehwere for this film, but the stunt shown in the movie is this '55 Chevy 210. One of the many irritaingly bad contuinity / editing issues in this film. (Beyond the purview of this site....As much as I love Roger Moore, Guy Hamilton did NOT do a good job directing this film. It looks so cheap it is embarassing.) |

It's more of the same, going back to at least Dr. No and it makes me think all American cars of a given year look alike to the car wranglers at Eon Productions. In Dr. No the '57 Chevy had a '57 Ford speedometer. Here we've got a '55 Plymouth and '55 Chevy swapping places... -- Last edit: 2023-03-25 03:44:29 |
