1960, not '61 - 1960 was the last year for pillarless hardtop station wagon. This car was probably owned by Universal Studios at that time - it showed up in at least two episodes of "Emergency!" and ended up being crushed by falling concrete in "Earthquake" (1974). |

This is incorrect. There is also a Mercury Colony Park listed in the page for Earthquake, but that one is a 1964, has arch covers over the rear wheels, different hubcaps, different front bumper, different shaped vent window and the six lines at the bottom of the paneling on the rear doors here are absent. Finally, this one is metallic tan and the one in Earthquake is plain white. This wagon was actually in the Emergency TV show, so you got that right. |
