Portsmouth September 1942 to April 1946... However the Glass' index dsl posted a while ago shows that the plates issued between 292 and 634 out of that combination was issued in 1945, making this a '45 car. |

Amazing survivor as looks to be same vehicle and bodywork as in diptheria immunisation article. Lots of local authorities received war surplus Austin K2 ambulances after the war and some rebodied them. |

Not really a survivor. The photo was taken in the "early 1950s", and the film was made in 1955. |
