Quote Still with Triumph engine.

..Ummm... I didn't know about the triumph engine.!

The first 99:s have got an engine from Triumph on 1709cc or 1854cc, it´s one half of the Stag V8 engine.
From 1972 and on there was also a swedish produced 2-litre engine available. Last year for the Triumph engine was 1974, if I remember right.

1973 and only for the L model. The rest had the two litre either carburetted or fuel injected (the EMS).

No, it´s 1974. It was available in the 99 X7, a rare budget version.

This is 1974 model then.? (called 99.? ..or 99 X7.?)

The 99 X7 was only sold in Sweden so it's probably not an X7. The X7 didn't have the horns on the bumpers. This has chrome bumpers with horns so it's not an X7 and in -72 the 99 got shock absorbing bumpers. So it's a 1972 or earlier.

The comment was about the engine, it was still available in 1974. The car here is of course among the earliest, but that is already said in a previous comment.

I do believe both main picture and this may be the same car. Looks like 1972 or later bumper
