From the little seen in the movie a two-seat sports car/convertible. |

Mascot looks a lot like Humber Super Snipe 1938+ and post-WW2 when they redesigned it to sit lower, but they all had fuller wings not mudguards, so probably a dead end. |

Has it occurred to you that it is either a Swallow bodied chassis or a 1929-31 Swift Ten? |

![]() A cropped and enlarged view of the windscreen and soft top/hood. Ignore the wheel on the left from te Fordson tractor. The car looks very short and low slung and probably has a rounded-cowl dashboard. |

Possibly forget the Swift theory, you could by a Desmo Swift mascot to use as a radiator cap on your “whatever” tourer. |

Forgetting the rather plump bird mascot, the nearest I can find is an MG PB (or less likely a later T-Type). Bonnet form and hinge positions, slanted louvres. Hood fixings, number and position on the windscreen top rail and wiper spacing, all match the PB. Also found three examples of MG PB bonnet top panels with the same four rivet heads, but not found so far on the TC. ![]() Examples of the MG PB with recognition points. |

For future reference, the four bonnet rivets also feature on the MG PA /vehicle_504339-MG-PA-1934.html |
