This is actually GS 6342 a 1935 Bedford WS 12 seat estate bus Chassis number 94517 Body make unknown Original owner owner unknown but possibly in Perthshire as reg number issued there Date unknown to Doug Sharp t/a United Services Garage, Portsmouth, he bought it from an estate in Scotland, & sold it circa 1987 by -/01 with Peter Gaine, Finchampsted who converted it to a van for film work by panelling over windows, seats are still inside. The vehicle remains unlicenced as DVLA would not re-issue original number owing to no number stamped on the chassis. (Chassis number known from PSV Circle records) The number MXB 344 is actually from a Morris but presumably used as it fitted the period and London area for the episode.
