It is based on the forward-control 25-cwt. chassis, which includes a Perkins P 3/144 oil engine (developing 41 b.h.p. at 2,400 r.p.m.) and independent front suspension. The new model, known as the Rural Bus, has all seats facing forward. The entrance door is immediately behind the near-side front wheel and there are three large windows on each side. The centre one on both sides can be opened. The rear window is detachable as an extra emergency exit in addition to the emergency door on the off side. Three vertical hand rails are provided and there are two interior strip lights giving a total of 48 watts. The complete vehicle in primer finish costs £1,240."
