Packards were built in Ireland 1935-53, but not many (under 100??) before WW2. Apparently in early days, Packard weren't geared up for CKD exports, so fully-assembled cars were dismantled in US, crated up, and then stuck back together in Dublin - it must have made sense to somebody at the time ....

It makes sense if the cost of disassembly and reassembly is less than the import duty on complete cars.

As well as that, when cars had to be craned in and out of ships' holds transporting CKD kits in crates was easier and more space-efficent than shipping complete vehicles. IRRC during the Second World War military trucks supplied by the USA to the USSR were shipped as kits to save space.

'36 Packard is correct, but it's definitely not a Junior One-Twenty. This is rather a (Standard) Senior Eight Sedan with a factory body.
Touring Saloon would indicate a protruding boot, which this car doesn't have, and wasn't available for Senior Packards until 1937.
On a side-note, the bumpers aren't original (or they may be correct for Irish-build Packards), which may have caused the initial confusion.

Unlikely to be an Irish registered car since this was filmed in Pottery Road, Brentford Middlesex England, therefore 'Made for GB'?

This explains why the other, similar looking, Packard was used the scenes filmed in Ireland, at thr border of Counties Dublin and Wicklow (the "Fagans Garage").

This information from the locations identified on the Reelstreets website.
