Wasn't it 'Made in UK'? - None of the listed vehicles has that information added... |

I've never seen the VIN from an Opel Campo starting with anything other than JAA (Isuzu Opel Japan). UK-assembled vehicles typically start with SED. It's possible a few were assembled in the UK at some point, but so far I've only seen claims and not concrete proofs in form of VINs. Even this one badged as Vauxhall Brava says Isuzu Motors Japan and no mention of UK assembly: |

^ 7 is luton. A lot of the rebadges do not have a GB WMI. The 11th digit is the plant code. -- Last edit: 2024-09-02 13:12:43 |

Thanks! Never knew. |

Strangely, 7 is also used for the Isuzu Fujisawa plant |

Fujisawa was one of the factories for the [TF]. Wikipedia also lists Vendas Novas in Portugal but not Luton. -- Last edit: 2024-09-02 13:37:17 |

I stand corrected. 7 is normally Luton. However, it appears the Campo was built in Japan. https://www.opel-infos.de/fgst/fgst_mj82-97.html#campo |
