I don't think it is a Berkhof Excellence. Berkhofs of that era had quite an upright front with the rake back being limited to the top windscreen, whereas this looks more curved. Also, compared to the one in the link below (the closest version I can find to the Ferrari bus) the sloping lower window line at the front starts too far forward and it lacks the stepped window line over the cab. Also the distinctive little raked-back window behind the emergency exit is not quite the right shape and might even just be a livery detail rather than a window. (Admittedly there were quite a few variations of this style of Berkhof body and some treated the cab area window line differently, but I can't find any closer than this version): https://www.flickr.com/photos/peterolthof/50107308272/ I see that much of the series was filmed in South America, so maybe something Brazilian? |
