Somehow, I don't think this started off as a convertible

I'm sorry.

Seen on a copy without credits.

The full movie let it at 21'24 ... and it's a Porsche ;)
Which one of the 914 ... ???

It's supposed to be a 914, but you can see that it is a different car with long bumpers:

I can see a lot of E-Type Jag traits - bumpers, arch shapes, maybe door, headlight as well. Only odd thing is steel rear wheel - all early Es had wires. Italian wing indicator??

... or on a second look, maybe not E-Type as bonnet wouldn't crush into sections like that. But a Jag Mk.X might, and give a better headlight shape and explains a steel wheel better. A bit puzzled how a Jag rear door might end up looking like that, which may mean it's an XJ-C as the only other 2-door Jag candidate, but I'm not really convinced.

So Jag Mk.X my best bid.

One other comment - a crushed car would not have completely intact paint like this, so they've repainted a wreck for the scene. This might explain why it looks wrong, with clues now camouflaged - maybe they've even disguised and painted over any rear door shutlines to deliberately make it look 2 door??

Trop forts, les gars ! :king:

 your ability to avoid a trap !

(which wasn't one; I really think it was the 914 now crushed :( ...)

Just a thought, but: How many wheel lug bolts did they have?

Good question - 60s/70s Jags seem to have been 5 bolters. So I'm stumped, but fairly sure it can't be the 914. If not a Jag - despite all the other shape clues - what are other candidates??

Fiat 124 Spider or Coupe?

that's what i've been having a look too , hood seems too short to me for a Jag

The longer wraparound rear bumper could be the 124 Sport Coupe.

I think I'm moving to 124 Coupe camp as well - this one highlights rear bumper length and in thumb suggests how front bumper could look so large. Coupe also provides a better match for the headlight than Spider, but either of the two gives the front indicator pimple, so I think we're nearly there.

All that remains is the rear wheel - were Fiats 4-bolters?? And the perforations aren't as obvious on the wreck as I'd expect.

Yes, they had 4 bolts: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Qs2MEp5hl-Q/maxresdefault.jpg

I propose an MG-B 1977 (released in yellow); the brake discs seem to confirm it ?

Fiat 124 Coupe looks the best fit to me.

The area behind the headlamp and near the front wheel-arch look similar even to the point of having a small aperture in line with the headlamp for the round side indicator found on the Fiat. The door aperture relationship with the wheelbase also matches. The MGB did not have the slightly flared lip to the wheel-arch and the rear of the door was nearer to the rear wheel-arch.
