Perhaps, but weren't Ladas sold in West Germany? (Leaving aside the fact that West Berlin was not part of West Germany, which is in fact the basis for the plot of this film...) What's more, this film also has a Moskvitch, a Trabant and a Wartburg. -- Last edit: 2008-11-14 23:40:38 |

Of course it was easy to get an Eastern European car for a movie production in West Berlin. I just imagined it more challenging to aquire a real Volkspolizei patrol car. So they had to prepare one anyway - and why not on identical Fiat base? -- Last edit: 2008-11-15 00:01:24 |
