Leyland-DAF, because it's right hand drive. Perhaps the vehicles in this shot were filmed in the UK, on a test track or airfield, etc, and then composited digitally into the Italian location background. |

Well the background landscape matches the making of captures taken by Wasserspier. |

Then I would guess that the stunt vehicles were bought and prepared in the UK and transported to Italy. |

Well it's only this truck to be RHD. |

Quite possibly, even the stunt-team looks to have american or british names. |

Could a UK truck not have been in Italy anyway? |
◊ 2008-12-01 21:55 |
Well maybe, but not a skip wagon! |

And the Leyland DAF badge has been painted over. |

Where? On the linked page I see that they simply don't have for sale trucks older than from 1998, but that doesn't prove anything. World premiere was in your capital at "Brusslels International Motor Show 73e Salon" - 13-22.01.1995. I can paste for you here Polish period article about this event with pic of just unveiled to the public green DAF 55, but not today. -- Last edit: 2015-08-10 00:04:37 |
