Thanks! It is difficult to tell the exact color on this model from the photo / watching the episode, so I appreciate the link to this information on Toyota models! I see that rustic green was one of two green colors available for '77, and this doesn't look like the other possibility: olive green. Separately, and forgive me for my lack of year-to-year differences on the FJ40, but how do we identify this as a '77 model? Whether a '76 or '77 would not affect the color identification as rustic green. I assume it must be around that model year because the primary cars (except "Emily"!!) used in the episodes filmed in Canada were either new or perhaps one model year old. Purdey's cool yellow Corolla liftback is a '76 according to the listings, the yellow XJS is a '76, the Impala that Gambit steals is a '77, and the two Parisienne models (one silver, and another dark blue) are also the new-for-'77 B-bodies. |
