Definitely not a '56 Dodge, they had a large "V" on the hood, not the grille. Looks like one of the 1955 Studebaker models. |

I really think that the taxi is a 1956 Dodge, Has the hood scoop and other marks of the 56 Dodge. V is probably there but lost in this night shot. |

If the grille would match a Studebaker's, it would be a 1952 and not a 1955. So the car would have protruding rear fenders, and it hasn't. There is a V shaped part in the grille of these Dodge. 1956 Dodge. |

Entry level 56 Dodge was a Coronet, so as this is a taxi cab, I would say this is a 1956 Dodge Coronet |

The V on the hood was only for V-8 powered models. The base Coronet had an inline-6 and no V. |
