There are no UK locations listed on the IMDB, so I suspect that this scene was faked in the US. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0870111/locations EDIT: Apparently the film begins with David Frost conducting an interview in Sydney. If the production really went there, it would make sense to film British scenes there as well, because there would be no problem getting right hand drive cars. -- Last edit: 2009-02-02 11:38:44 |

This is supposed to be at London Heathrow airport. |

If it's supposed to be Frost's car, it should be a Bentley (according to the screenplay. I hope the link works, it's a PDF converted to HTML by Google - just search the site for 'Bentley'). |

You're right, it is a Bentley. It's mentioned briefly in a conversation early in the film. Should have remembered that, stupid of me. "CAROLINE I heard an interview with you, recently. On the radio. You were giving it from back of your Rolls Royce. FROST (correcting) ...Bentley" So that confirms it. |

Being called a Bentley in the dialogue wouldn't necessarily make it so, but in this case it is indeed a Bentley, only a tiny bit of it is seen in the film but it features in a deleted scene: Although the plate (DRR294N) is fake, this seems to be one that was exported to America, notice the American licence plate in the 1st thumbnail (from behind the scenes footage). The scenes set in England were filmed in the US. -- Last edit: 2009-05-20 21:54:59 |

I think I spot one of Michael Harper-Smith's Routemasters in one of the thumbnails. http://www.eurofilmcars.com/html/buses.htm |
