The body of this bus is a Wayne (1973-1995 was given the model name Lifeguard, though Wayne type C busses going back to the mid 60s that used a similar design are in retrospect referred to as Lifeguards also). This picture doesnt show the chassis, but its possible that its an International since Wayne did build on those. |

Yes it is a Wayne. Wayne like all school bus body manufacturers, used, besides International, chassis from Ford, Chevy/GMC, Dodge (and going waaaaaaaaay back White and REO) to mount their bus bodies on. |

You might call it a Wayne, but there's no proof what the chassis is. |

We were referring to the BODY mounted on the chassis (which indeed is a Wayne). From the picture you can't tell if it is mounted on a an International, Ford etc chassis. -- Last edit: 2015-06-04 06:02:08 |
