I marked before "LaSalle Unknown" because I was not sure of the nomenclarure of LaSalle models. Well checking it better I have found not only the exact model but as well the same pic (colored) It's a 1929 LaSalle Phaeton Series 328 4-passenger Phaeton, job/style no 1185, built by the Fisher Body Corporation and is one of only 449 of that body style built. (Only about 16% of production was of open body styles that year.) from "Cadillac LaSalle Club of Australia Huge Photo Gallery of our Members' Cars" (the provider of the pic is 'marioman3138' also from Australia) http://members.tripod.com/~caddyclub/gallery.htm http://members.tripod.com/~caddyclub/as29.htm But I still unknown if the car must be listed as "LaSalle Phaeton [328] and into this classification /vehicles.php?make=LaSalle&model=Phaeton&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on " or (see /vehicles_make-LaSalle.html) "La Salle Series 328 Phaeton". (Series 328 Phaeton as model name) Comments? |
