with a Holzvergaser (wood carburator). btw. This movie was set in 1939? If yes, were Holzvergaser usual then? Especially in the rich Sweden, which was not directly involved the WWII? In Germany it was used mainly during (after ca.1940) and directly after the war. |

P.S. The car is not 100% original. The mudflaps and the back lamp are post-war. And -if I am correct- the chrome hubcaps, too. They belong to a 1951 Olympia. |

The film begins in 1939 and covers the whole period till 1945. Gasproducers were used from about 1940 and on. |

Why it's listed as Opel Kadett "Coach"? |

That was the name given to the 2-door versions, I think Opel used it until 1952 |

That's Olympia [OL-38]. There's visible distinctive semicircular curvature under C-pillar, absent on Kadett. Also rear window seems low, wide & a-bit-banana-shaped. |
