It's an earlier model because the headlights curve more at the grille and the chrome strip only runs across the grille instead of also under the headlights. Probably an '86. http://www.taurusclub.com/encyclopedia/G1/Front.jpg |

I noticed when i watched this movie that the Taurus had quite a bit of rust on the car. Wasn't this Taurus only 10 or 11 years old when the movie was made. I wouldn't have expected it to have as much rust as I own a showroom condition 1991 Ford Taurus with no rust and beautiful paint and interior. And its 15 years old!...Although I do baby my Taurus and treat it like it was a SHO :p, btw i would also like a SHO to join my collection along with my L.
